Welcome to VR Codex. Here, we are trying to collect all the virtual reality apps developed for mobile devices. It is true that smartphones are not (yet) as powerful and well-prepared for VR as their big brothers (Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus, etc), but we think that they are a great option to get a foot on virtual reality at a very low cost. Almost everyone has a smartphone already, so all you need is the lenses — which are quite cheap — and a pizza box. We are just starting to see what can be done with this technology, and we’re excited to see how far we can go.

MVR is just taking off, and so are we. VR Codex is brand new, so we count with just the basic options to deliver you as much apps as we can upload. But a lot more is under development right now. Like a better way to submit an app/game yourself, for example. In the meantime, if you have an app that you want to see posted here, just tell us using the contact page.

You can also tell us whatever you want there, we’d love to get some feedback and get in touch with you guys. And if you want to give as a hand — something we’d truly appreciate — you can send us any mistakes or bugs that you found on the website. Or improved/new texts for the Hardware section (that would be awesome).
